Factory Team: Jeroni, dolorante per una caduta in
allenamento, ha dovuto affrontare la gara facendo molta fatica e
senza mai poter veramente competere con i migliori.
Nonostante questo problema, Jeroni è riuscito a
concludere in 6° posizione, dimostrando orgoglio e
grinta anche in questa situazione.
Appuntamento la prossima settimana a Palma di Maiorca.

Toni Bou remains unbeaten and increases his advantage as a
leader. Takahisa Fujinami, two points away from the podium.
Madrid, 03.03.1012. - Toni Bou (Montesa Cota 4RT) remains
unbeaten in the X-Trial
World Championship after winning the Madrid Indoor Trial, held
this Saturday in the
Community of Madrid Sports Palace for fourth consecutive year,
with which the
Championship has passed its halfway point. Once again, Toni Bou
dominated the three
phases of the event, having closed the qualifying lap with just
one point and the semi-final
with nine, sealing his victory with four points in the
definitive lap. With three events to
end the championship in which Toni Bou has won the title in its
five previous editions, the
Montesa rider enlarged his advantage over the second classified
to 26 points.
Takahisa Fujinami (Montesa Cota 4RT) defended his options to a
podium position up to
the last moment, from which he was only two points away. The
Japanese rider, who was
in the final of the four events held up to now, won 17 points in
the qualifying lap and two
more in the semi-final, improving significantly in the last lap.
Toni Bou: "I think nobody could say there was a lack of
excitement today,
because the event was on very difficult zones and was not
decided until
the last moment. Four victories of four possible and 26 points
advantage as
a leader clearly show we’re incredibly well prepared. But even
so, we’ll
continue as always, concentrated on every race as it comes,
using the
strategy that is giving us such good results" .
Takahisa Fujinami: "Again I reached the final and finished two
points away
from the podium, a result that I’m fully satisfied with, as it
was the first day
I rode the motorcycle after my hard fall while training on
Tuesday. I had
some pain in my shoulder, but even so, I managed to find the
energy to
reach my final position, with options to a podium position until
the last
moment”.
The fifth scoring event for the X-Trial World Championship will
be held next Saturday,
March 10th in Palma de Mallorca.
