St.Pietroburgo Mondiale indoor |
ingranare..... Fuji in particolare č apparso anche qui molto
nervoso e deconcentrato.
Ora Raga guida saldamente la classifica con 60 punti davanti a
Cabestany con 43 e Lampkin con 33.
Sabato 19 č la volta dell'Italia al Forum di Assago alle porte di
Milano. Mi raccomando non mancate. (

Adam Raga made another conquest this evening and
took his sixth win in a row this year. Gas Gas rider obtained
another awesome victory in a very spectacular and tough round. His
teammate Jeroni Fajardo confirmed feelings from Barcelona and
obtained the second place in the podium, his best result ever at
indoors. Dougie Lampkin returned to honour position, although the
Briton had an important chance to overcame Fajardo in the last
observed section.
Around 12,000 crowd witnessed one of the greatest trials of the
season.
In the qualification lap, Marc Freixa proved again the poor moment
he is attempting. Montesa rider took the wrong way after the
Spaniard committed a five that put in trouble the direction of his
bike. Since then, Freixa, without any confidence, marked several
successive five that condemned to the last place in the trial.
Blazusiak, thanks to his three cleans along the circuit, was ahead
of the Spaniard.
Albert Cabestany committed two fives that put for first time out
of the final. Sherco rider failed in the most important sections,
which decided the trial, and his best in the rest only served him
to be fourth.
Adam Raga was the air fresh versus the previous riders, with a
fantastic display, adding only two points at the end of the
circuit. Dougie Lampkin went on the line fixed by Raga, although
his wasted time at the beginning forced him to precipitate his
riding in the last part and taking more penalties.
Takahisa Fujinami repeated the sensations he left in Barcelona.
The Japanese had a very weak riding, very accelerated and full of
nerves. His marks at the beginning forced him to risk in excess
and finally Fujigas was out from the final again.
Jeroni Fajardo has found his best physical and mental level. After
his great exhibition in Barcelona, the young from Gas Gas offered
and excels riding, with only one five in the waterfall, the hazard
which closed the observed circuit. Instead this failure, his
magnificent performance gave him the prize to be for second time
in the final this season.
Raga and Fajardo maintained a close and hot head to head till the
end of the first half, meanwhile Lampkin was out from the battle
after two successive fives. The leader in championship took
advantage of Fajardo slip in section 6, very technical and
complicated, and achieved a gap that he increased in the rest of
the hazards. His absolute dominance at Indoor Series will go on
one week more, with any of the riders is capable to make fall him
from the first position.
Milano Filaforum hosts this coming Staurday 19th February the next
round in Series.
